leadership

Our approach to leadership at Vineyard Rolla is simple. Leaders are servants. Leadership comes from an attitude of service that results in influence.

We are led by a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of Co-Pastors who oversee the spiritual health of the church. Our Board of Directors oversees the business and financial life of the church and provides care and accountability for the pastors. Staff, Ministry Leaders, and Small Group Leaders serve in various capacities to oversee all aspects of church life.

Since the resignation of our long time Lead Pastor in July of 2017, the SLT and board have been in prayerful process of seeking God's heart in identifying a primary leader moving forward. We were excited to announce in February that Marie Allen has stepped into the role of Interim Lead Pastor.  Her leadership and guidance have been a welcome addition to the SLT structure. The Co-Pastors will  continue to serve in the same collaborative manner in which the team has always functioned to carry out the mission and vision that God has given our church.

The Senior Leadership Team of Co-Pastors

  • Marie Allen

    Interim Lead Pastor

Marie and her husband of 20 years have been Rolla residents since early 2000. She has two adult children, both happily married. From the very first time she visited Vineyard, she knew she had found her home. For most of her life, Marie had an on-again-off-again love affair with Jesus, yet somehow always found herself drawn back into self-destructive patterns. In 1995, she finally let go and went all in. She hasn't looked back since. Marie is passionate about caring for the most vulnerable among us. She has served as Program Coordinator of The Rolla Mission for nearly five years. She brings that heart of compassion with her into all the roles in which she serves here at Vineyard Rolla.

  • Vince Allen

    Co-Pastor

After serving nine years in the military, Vince and his wife settled in Rolla in early 2000. Vince has since worked in Logistics Management for over a decade. Vince has two children , a son and a daughter, both grown and married to wonderful spouses. An empty nest affords him the opportunity for more time to pursue his favorite hobbies of golf, hunting, and fishing. Vince is passionate about experiencing the fullness of a relationship with God and using the gifts to help others experience the same. Motivated by that desire, he has served in a variety of ways over the many years he has been a part of Vineyard Rolla. Vince joined the Senior Leadership Team in 2012, where he has continued to serve in any capacity needed.

  • Bob Bretsch

    Co-Pastor

Bob has served as pastor, college instructor, high school guidance counselor, and teacher as well as raised two children to be happy, productive adults with families of their own. He is also, along with his wife Beverly, the founder of Empowerment Kidz, a non-profit for children to build resilience into the fabric of their lives. He is a Clinical Psychologist as well as pastor, and loves helping people connect to their true identities in Christ through worship, community, counseling, and friendship. Bob has served in a pastoral role at Vineyard Rolla since 2017.

  • Paige Timer

    Co-Pastor

Paige is a PK (pastor's kid) from North Carolina. She and her family moved to Rolla in 2009. She and her hunk of a husband, Josh, were married in 1997, and she is happy to say they still like each other a whole lot. They have two pretty wonderful kids, Max and Halle, a rotten golden retriever named Roxy, and two bratty, beautiful cats, Huck and Odysseus (Odie). Paige dreamed of Broadway as a kid and still loves the theatre, but her passions shifted to kingdom things in 1995 when Jesus broke into her reality and radically changed her life. In 2012, she felt God calling her to student ministry and she began serving the youth of Vineyard Rolla. In 2013, she accepted the role of Youth Director. Paige loves dates with her husband, hanging out with her kids, vegetables of every variety, all things furry (except furry spiders), and singing loudly with total abandon.
